Beginning in June, Ethiopian Airlines will offer direct flights from LAX to Dublin, Ireland.
RTE reports that the African carrier will be the only airline flying direct between Dublin and LA.Ethiopian chief executive Tewolde Gebremariam said the route would connect three continents, adding that he was confident the new route will appeal to both holidaymakers and business travelers.
Ethiopian Airlines plans to sell return flights between Dublin and Los Angeles and between Dublin and Addis Ababa from €595 or about $650 USD.
The Irish Fair Foundation is in talks with Ethiopian Air to be an Irish Fair sponsor.
